“I am both the sacred breath that moves through me, and the bones that hold me up.”

What are your favorite animals?

My favorite is the one whose heart is open

Willing to walk a path, noble and worthy

Animals who’s ears perk up at a foreign sound

Their eyes gleam when sun rays sparkle the ground

My favorites are their bold leaps from trees

Or from pond to swamp

The ones who cradle their young nestled to their belly

As baby’s yawn, the mother will not stop.

The kingdom where all are welcome, and the many survive.

Quiet opposite of ours, from our true selves many hide

Yet not here, they know their purpose.

My favorite of all is is the not least worthless

Quiet excepting tall, and a magnificent prescence.

The ones after death, who linger in essence.
