“I am both the sacred breath that moves through me, and the bones that hold me up.”

Guided and Directed :

Tik tok

The clock stops, but we keep going,

As if the alarm wasn’t ringing

Or the shift already started

Running late, Paper past due

“I’ll do it on my own time”

Slowly I will get there

Go on without me

And by god do not rush me

I believe in myself,

So no I do not need time.

Time is only present,

When I can smell the beach

Not during my skin crawl with persistence, or that uncomfortable conversation

No one needs time,

Time is the grand illusion

The foot race on quick sand

Time leads to itself

Racing or pacing to a unified rhythm of imagined agenda

They want us to need it

But all we have is now

Savory and sweet

I need the now

To stay grateful, blessed and patient

I lost time,

Therefore I never needed it

The now is always forgiving

Always reminding

Continuously conscious

Inviting

With every breath

Time is unconscious and

“I forgot to breathe”

I’m here now not holding my breath

Freely

Time can be a gift

Spent wisely, or shift

Time can be despised

So again we don’t need time

We need awareness on what to do with it.
